A Brooklyn, New York based interior design firm, Olina Designs offers interior design services for residential and small commercial spaces. Olina Designs' focus is to be thoughtful + intentional in how we design our spaces to provide an environment that supports and enhances our wellbeing.
Led by owner and designer Krista Mann. From a young age Krista helped her mom + sister decorate and re-decorate their home. There was always a project on the go and these learning led her here today. Growing up on the Canadian prairies she was constantly inspired by the diverse landscape and seasons that nature had to offer and has always felt the importance of learning how we can connect with natural elements to design a better built environment. Her passion lies in helping clients design spaces that create connection, beauty and belonging, creating a home that they feel comfortable in.
Krista completed her undergraduate studies in textiles + interiors at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and furthered her interior design education at RRC Institute in Ontario. Honing in on her belief that together we can design a better built environment, she completed her WELL AP certification and Parsons Healthier Materials + Sustainable Buildings certificate, which allows her to educate clients about creating healthy sustainable homes that help improve wellbeing and quality of life.
